The Louvre (French: Musée du Louvre) is located on the north bank of the Seine in the center of Paris, France, and ranks among the top four museums in the world. Founded in 1204, it was originally a royal palace in France. It has inhabited 50 French kings and queens. It is one of the most precious buildings in the French Renaissance. It is famous for its rich collection of classical paintings and sculptures.

It was designed by Chinese architectural master Pei Mingming. On August 10, 1793, the Louvre Museum of Art officially opened to the public and became a museum.
The Louvre has become a world-famous art palace, and one of the largest art treasure houses is the palace of worldwide attention.
